So I was going to write a huge thing about my trip, then I realized I already pretty much wrote a book about it (in my journal) and I don't want to do that again.  But some highlights...

Greece was cool, we got to spend the day there because we had a really long lay over.

Egypt was amazing!!! We had a great tour guide, Tamer.  The pyramids were cool.  Following the Exodus route was really cool.  And Mount Sinai....I wish i had words to describe it.  It was absolutely beauitful.  And the bathrooms in Egypt make you extremely grateful for bathrooms here.

Traveling from Egypt to Jordan - awkwardness 101.

Jordan was my favorite country.  I want to move there someday.  Petra was beautiful, i want to get married there.  Odeh was amazing, and his cell phone ring was too (bagpipes).  I came to the realization that bedouins are amazing people.  And Jordan is the coolest country.

Israel was beautiful.  Almost every site was made into a national park though.  Staying in Tiberias was my favorite.  Boating on the Sea of Galilee was amazing, it was so cool to be on the sea of galilee, and just picture Jesus walking on the water.  I really like going to the old city in Jerusalem too....Living in Jerusalem would be really cool.  And our tour guide Barney was very interesting.

The trip home was the longest day of my life...34 hours without sleep...and lots of jet lag followed.

And hanging out with Jen, Holly, Lindsay, and Scott also made the trip definitely worthwhile.  (especially when you play capture the flag in the hotel with 5 people).

If you ever get a chance to go overseas...you definitely should go.  It's so cool to see the bible come to life.  (By the way Feb. of 2009, there will be another trip)

*I have tons of pics on my facebook....
